ABOUT

I am currently the President of the Glens Falls Common Council as Councilman At Large, serving in that position since November of 2008. Now working with my second Common Council group, I can say that city government is in good hands with a mix of professional small business owners, experienced public servants, and caring individuals.

With the recent award of a $9.7 million Downtown Revival Initiative (DRI), we have a great opportunity to transform parts of the city that will be everlasting. As a Co-Chair of the DRI committee, I was proud of the process of community engagement that led us to the projects that were approved. If elected, I will continue the public engagement process and strive to keep the community informed.

“The most enduring cities envision, grow, and maintain an extraordinary civic realm. We are inspired by public libraries that contain lifetimes of knowledge, museums that recall the past and connect it to the future; performing arts centers that allow us to pause and immerse ourselves deeply in the language of music, dance, and theater; parks that weave together humankind and nature; and sports stadiums that excite us. Taken together with investments in transportation, housing, heath, and education, these institutions of excellence and the infrastructure of opportunity make good cities great ones.”

—Jonathan F.P. Ross: The Well-Tempered City

The above paragraph describes Glens Falls perfectly. We live in a city on the rise and need to keep the momentum going. I have the experience and knowledge to continue the charge. I am honored to be considered to be the mayor of Glens Falls. I have been a resident of Grand Street for 28 years and have been an active member of the community since moving back from a 10 year experience in Colorado. I have served on the City of Glens Falls Planning Board, the Warren County Board of Supervisors, The Glens Falls Business Alliance, and am still an officer in the Glens Falls High School’s Booster Club after 20 years.
